Shipping Policy
DELIVERY INFORMATION:
We take great pride and care with our hand-crafted Grimaldi chocolates and want to ensure that your treats arrive in perfect condition. Please review the shipping terms and policies below to understand your responsibilities in ensuring the best possible experience.
Grimaldi manufactures in Florida and due to the perishable nature of our delicious chocolate, we take every necessary step in packaging your treats in the most economical way possible. During the summer and the months of extreme heat, the shipping prices may need to be adjusted to account for additional icepacks. If this does happen, we will call you to inform you of those shipping adjustment as we want you to receive your goodies in the best possible condition.
If you want to leave a sweet message with your gift, please make sure you use the message box at check out. Also, if you have any special delivery instructions please make sure you add the instructions in the message box.
SHIPPING INFORMATION:
We do not require a signature on delivery therefore we suggest sending chocolate to a location where someone is available to accept the delivery. If you are sending the chocolates as a gift, please let the recipient know when to expect the delivery so their gift does not melt on their doorstep.
We are not responsible for missing or stolen packages from the doorstep and again suggest when sending the chocolates please let the recipient know.
We will provide you with a tracking number for your convenience
We ship via USPS (United States Postal Service) and UPS (United Parcel Service) therefore Grimaldi Candy Company is unable to ship to PO Boxes or APO addresses. Once USPS or UPS takes possession of your treats, the package is at the mercy of the carrier. Again, we will provide the tracking number and make every effort necessary to protect your chocolates from any damage during transit.
PRODUCT SATISFACTION:
NO REFUNDS OR CREDITS. Grimaldi Candy Company makes every effort to maintain the freshness and stability of our shipments, however, once an order enters the USPS or UPS system, we can no longer guarantee the product quality. Any damage incurred during transit must be reported immediately upon receipt. You will need to provide or enclose pictures of the damage for prompt and courteous response. Any damage that may have occurred due to shipping delays by the carrier, meltage due to weather, package refusal, and/or incomplete or incorrect delivery addresses will not be refunded.
